Internal IT Support Technician

Position activities:

• Provide server/desktop/laptop hardware and software support for company infrastructure and employees.
• Work on phone system administration as required.
• Disaster recovery and backups for company.
• Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including hardware and software, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment problems; make repairs and corrections where required.
• Act as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment and data; manage centralized help desk to facilitate exchange of information and advice; implement solutions or notifies outsource providers as required.
• Provide support of corporate operating applications, including Exchange, SharePoint and Dynamics CRM.
• Provide internal support and technical issue resolution via e-mail and phone.
• Assist application and technical consultants in field with client technical issues.

 Skills required for success:

• Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.
• Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
• Experience with hardware and software issues.
• Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers.
• Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.

 Qualifications:

• Bachelors or technical degree, preferably in technology
• 2+ years IT support
• MCSE certifications preferred
• Experience with SharePoint and Dynamics CRM preferred
